M Cubed Technologies provided customers with material solutions using its advanced composite materials, manufacturing expertise, and application skills. M Cubed’s composite materials provided the performance of ceramics with the shaping flexibility normally associated with metals. M Cubed materials were used in light-weight armor systems and in semiconductor capital equipment, and it was the largest supplier of ceramic composite materials for body armor to the U.S. military. M Cubed was acquired by II-VI Inc. (Nasdaq IIVI) in 2012.
