American Waste Services

American Waste Services Inc., which came public in 1990 and merged its solid waste operations with USA Waste Services in 1998, provided integrated waste management and environmental services (including disposal, transportation, site assessment, and remediation) to industrial, commercial, and municipal customers. USA Waste later merged with Waste Management Inc. (Nyse: WM).
