GNI Group

The GNI Group Inc. was engaged in the manufacture of specialty chemicals and in hazardous and non-hazardous waste management. GNI recycled and manufactured specialty chemicals from byproduct streams on a contract basis, leveraging its captive waste disposal capability. It was also the largest commercial operator of deepwells. It traded publicly for 10 years and was taken private in 1998.
