KTI Inc. was an integrated waste management business providing waste handling and disposal services for non-hazardous solid waste from residential, commercial, and industrial sources. The company managed four business lines: 1) waste-to-energy; 2) residential recycling; 3) commercial recycling; and 4) franchised products. KTI merged with Casella Waste Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: CWST) in December 1999.
