Serrot International Inc. manufactured and installed synthetic geomembrane lining systems. Its largest market was the solid waste landfill industry. Liners prevent the flow of leachate off the site and control the migration of methane from the landfill. Serrot was acquired by Waste Management Inc. (Nyse: WM) in 1999.
